Europe January 2014

1.500 customers are already waiting for it
Post-Orgasmic Chill Edition

After several record breaking months, no doubt fueled with dutch sales, the european market took a moment to breath and enjoy the moment, but somehow the Nissan Leaf kept on pressing sales, with 1.243 units sold, its second best score ever. The Volvo V60 Plug-In (439 units), was second and in third we have the Volkswagen e-Up!, a strong performer these days.
On the other hand, Renault showed a poor performance, with the Zoe just in #7 and the brand dropping to #2 and 13% share, way behind Nissan (28% share).
Last year the french brand had 37% share...

  1. Jose,

Is it possible to get a breakdown for the i3, how many were BEVs and how many were EREVs?

According to insideevs' Eric L., in Germany in January about 2/3 of the i3 sales were BEV (and Germany is by far the largest i3 market).

  2. Hey, Jose. I tried emailing you through your profile page a few weeks ago but think it probably didn't go through. Mind getting in touch with me? Email: zach@importantmedia.org

Also, which countries does this European sales report include? Just Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, France, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, and Belgium?
